If it were our money: The 300ZX is a great driver no matter what the model. But we'd skip over the awkward-looking 2+2 and the T-top and convertible models. Our cash would be spent on the best two-seat hardtop we could find. A turbo, with any luck. Yeah, you should totally go for the base model! Better yet, a hackjob TT-swapped one!
